Here’s to the Class of 2020

By Faith Trombley, Media & Marketing Intern

Here’s to the class of 2020.

We came into the world while America was grieving 9/11.

Now we’re entering our next chapter of life with a worldwide shutdown and social distancing rules putting our final moments as high school seniors as figments of our imaginations.

For many, this spring sport season was going to be the final run.

For music students, their final show.

We may not get the senior prom that all of us have been looking forward to since freshman year, and graduation ceremonies this year may not be traditional.

But in the class of ‘20 we are strong.

We will push through this.

We all have bright futures ahead of us. As a member of the class of 2020, I believe we should keep open minds and open hearts.

We’ll get through this together.

So with that being said,

Here’s to the memories.

Here’s to lifelong friendships.

Here’s to the start of something new.

Here’s to the class of 2020.
